Juliana M. Andonian

Ms. Andonian is a skilled advocate and investigator who brings a compassionate and assiduous approach to the practice of law.

Ms. Andonian graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law and Policy Review. She served as a law clerk to the Hon. Corinne Beckwith on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Hon. Paula Xinis on the District Court for the District of Maryland. She then worked as an attorney at FAMM (formerly Families Against Mandatory Minimums) where she helped to build and run a federal compassionate release Clearinghouse and advocate on federal sentencing policy.

Ms. Andonian’s practice centers on investigations, whistleblower representation, and criminal defense. She maintains an active pro bono practice focused on prison conditions and post-conviction matters.

Representative matters include:

  • Represented whistleblowers in the cryptocurrency industry regarding fraud and market manipulation.
  • Represented national nonprofit in inquiry into use of federal grant funds.
  • Represented government attorney in OIG inquiry.
  • Represented national nonprofit in internal investigation and grand jury subpoena response.
  • Obtained a 20-year reduction in sentence for a client convicted on federal mandatory minimums.

Ms. Andonian is a proud alumna of Warren Wilson College, a work college in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
